Is CBD detectable in a drug test?

The natural hemp extract does not fall under the Narcotics Act (BtMG) and therefore allows legal use and thus also driving on CBD. So you don't have to worry about losing your driving license when you are stopped? Most full-spectrum CBD oils have a certain THC content. This should of course not be exceeded within the EU limit of up to 0,2% THC. Therefore, it is important for your driving license: pay attention to the THC value (laboratory analyses show transparency)

However, it is possible that a urine test for THC (THC-COOH) consumption will be positive. However, the result is a “false positive” result, which would then lead to a mass spectrometry test. These tests are more precise and ultimately rule out increased THC intake. If you for example If you are tested for THC consumption, please inform us that you are taking a dietary supplement made from industrial hemp and could therefore test positive for THC. Carrying and consuming CBD is not a criminal offense. You will not be prosecuted under any circumstances.

A small example: If you take up to 2000 mg of CBD hemp oil daily, up to 2-5 mg of THC can accumulate in your body. This does not affect your ability to drive, but can be shown in a drug test. Therefore, always pay attention to the purity of the product and read the certificates carefully.
